Arricon Private Limited provided expert structural consultancy services for the design of a 400-meter gabion wall in the Konkan region of Maharashtra. This wall serves a dual purpose: as both a retaining wall and a flood control barrier, ensuring the stability of the surrounding land while preventing erosion. The project focused on designing a robust gabion structure made from a combination of steel wire mesh cages filled with local stones, which offers a cost-effective and environmentally friendly solution for retaining and stabilizing soil. The design took into account factors like slope stability, seismic forces, and water drainage, ensuring optimal performance during the heavy monsoon conditions typical of the region. The gabion wall design blends well with the natural environment, making it a sustainable solution for erosion control and slope stabilization. The unique challenges posed by the hilly terrain and intense rainfall in Ratnagiri were carefully addressed by our structural team, ensuring that the wall’s design could withstand these conditions while maintaining its structural integrity and long-term durability

In November 2022, Arricon Private Limited completed the detailed design of the Palghar jetty, an important infrastructure project for the Maharashtra Maritime Board (MMB). This project involved creating a comprehensive design for the jetty located in Palghar, Mumbai, with a focus on ensuring structural integrity and functionality. Our design process included thorough checks for various factors such as wind pressure, seismic activity, accidental loads, and the impact of wave forces. This was to ensure that the jetty could withstand environmental stresses.
